Today we were on the other side of the Big Island at Kona. This port has a lot of coral so you have to tender to the dock. From the ship we could see a lot of dolphins playing around the boats that were tied out in the water, which was great fun to watch. This pier is right in the middle of town so there’s plenty of shops within an easy walk. We wandered around a few shops then took the trolley that ran a few miles up the coast so we could just see more of the island. There was also a beach right there but there were quite a few people swimming and it didn’t look like there was much to see so we just went back to the ship.
We ate and just walked around the ship until time for the show. Tonight’s show was a variety show with Bud Andersen and Oh What a Night! so we knew this would be good. We weren’t disappointed. Great entertainment!
